Biography

     Robert Kelaghan is a former award-winning athlete who traded in his dreams of gridiron glory for the more long-term serenity-inducing rewards of yoga.  He has studied this ancient system of health for over 25 years, co-led a yoga center in Sacramento, taught at a nationally known retreat center, and assisted on 2 occasions in the training of yoga teachers.  Also, for 9 years he was the main yoga instructor for Sierra College in Nevada City, CA.

     Currently, he is teaching yoga and meditation as Director of the Intern Program for Polestar Gardens, an intentional Yoga Community in Hawaii. Interns come from all over the world for 1-2 month stays, and immerse themselves in the yogic lifestyle, and learn work skills on the side as well. In this setting, he has found the perfect avenue for pursuing his 2 passions, yoga and devotional music. Over the past 10 years, he has started and led 2 bands, NAMASTE (world beat / spiritual rock) & THE CRAZY KARMA KIRTAN BAND (eastern chant music).....
